Holiday Assistance

Each year JFS offers three projects to help Jewish families and older adults participate in Jewish holidays.

Passover- JFS provides food for seder meals and kosher-for-Passover food for the entire week. Packages include chicken, matzah, gefilte fish, fresh produce and other food items. Kosher chickens available upon request.

High Holy Days- food for an Erev Rosh Hashanah meal, including chicken, challah, honey, apples, and more.

Chanukah- Those in need fill out a wish list for them and their family. This wish list is passed to a community member or group, who purchases the items. The recipient is anonymous to the donor.
