Family and Children's Counseling

The children's and youth counseling program provides counseling and consultation for children ages 3 to 18 who are struggling with behavior problems that interfere with successful social and/or academic development. We also provide services for the entire family.
This program is designed to strengthen the family unit, improve children’s success at home, in school, and in the community, to improve parents’ ability to respond effectively to their children, and to address concerns about a child’s behavior and emotional well-being. A variety of services are offered through this program, including individual and family therapy, workshops and parent education programs, classroom observations and teacher and parent consultation. For more information, contact Betsy Low at 913-327-8253 or blow@jfskc.org.
