Older Adult Services

Helping older adults live with dignity.

Older Adult Woman smilingAs we age, some things in life become more challenging. JFS is here with comprehensive and compassionate care to help adults ages 60 and older live healthy, independent, and meaningful lives. Programs address aging-related issues such as support to maintain a home, transportation, health, mobility, grief, isolation, emotional concerns, and more.

Help@Home

Provides high quality, dependable minor home repairs and access to services helping older adults maintain their independence at home. With Help@Home, individuals get the peace of mind they need to stay in control of their daily lives for as long as they choose to stay in their homes. Learn more.

JET Express Transportation

Provides access to transportation for individuals who no longer drive, and promotes older adult independence through connection to people and places that are meaningful to them. Several transportation options exist. Learn more. 

Care Management

Care Management connects older adults to a professional Care Manager or Social Worker to partner closely in planning for the future or managing a crisis. Learn more.

JFS Tech Connect

Tech Connect was a COVID 19 initiative that equipped older adults with a tablet, assisted with internet access, and trained them during a 10-week virtual course how to use their new device. Ongoing support for graduates continues.  Learn more.

Holocaust Survivors Services

We assist survivors and their families to access benefits including community resources, financial entitlements and homecare services. Learn more.

Comprehensive Care

With aging, it is not uncommon to feel sad about retirement, health problems, being lonely or the loss of friends or a loved one. A continuum of services at JFS provides confidential referrals to counseling, spiritual care, grief and loss support, crisis and financial assistance. Your Care Manager will assist in finding referrals for other needs you may have.

Medicare Counseling

JFS offers year round free, confidential, and unbiased Medicare counseling to help you understand your Medicare benefits. Learn more.


Access Online Judaic Content

View a wide variety of internet resources for viewing and listening to Judaic content and tips for accessing content via hi-definition internet television.

If you need technical assistance accessing these resources, we offer assistance through our Help@Home membership-based program.
